1. Develop policy recommendations, regulations and uniform specifications for areas impacting the maintenance of Montclair’s sidewalks, curbs, street lighting and trees planted in the Township’s right of way with the goal to create a uniform set of policies to enhance Montclair’s visual appeal.

2. As a process, the Sub-Committee will have different subject area specialists, staff and representatives meet separately to evaluate individual areas – and report back to Committee draft recommendations.

3. Emphasize public place with high traffic – the three BIDs, Valley Road, large parking lots near train stations such as Bellevue Plaza, Walnut Street/Farmers Market area

4. Town Council to assess the various streetscape recommendations and adopt as either town policy, ordinance, or direct operational details to various departments
